From 1985 to 1988, Julianne Moore played not one, but two parts on As the World Turns as long-separated sisters Frannie and Sabrina Hughes. Her performance earned her the Outstanding Ingénue Daytime Emmy Award in 1988.

Julianne Moore Set to Play Sarah Palin for HBO

She’s one of Hollywood’s most talented actresses, and Julianne Moore is set to take on the role of Sarah Palin in HBO’s new film, “Game Change.”

According to Hollywood Reporter, the movie follows John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign from his selection of Palin as his running mate to their ultimate defeat in the general election.

It will be directed by Jay Roach and is based on the bestselling book of the same name by John Heilemann.

Moore is currently working on “Another Night” which also stars Robert De Niro, Paul Dano, Olivia Thirlby, Dale Dickey and Lili Taylor.
