Portable Ghostbusters Sanctum of Slime v1.13229.9919

The story here is a simple one: we're set in a contemporary time period after the events of the movies and the game. The Ghostbusters have hired four new cadets to defend New York City, and that's where you and your friends step in; if you have no friends, the other 'busters are AI-controlled. Through a dozen levels, you'll blast ghouls, ride in the Ecto-4WD and trap bosses. To get info in-game, text conversations will pop up in boxes, and to get the scoop outside of the gameplay, you'll watch interactive, comic book-style cutscenes. There's no voice work for any of that.
In-game visuals were the first thing that stood out to me in Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime -- both in good and bad ways. For starters, the Ghostbusters -- Sam, Oscar, Bridget and Gabriel -- all look really sharp. There are the creases you'd expect in their jumpsuits and the Proton Packs are whirling away. On the downside, I was a bit disappointed to find that Sanctum of Slime is reusing some of the assets from Ghostbusters: The Video Game. My demo started with the quartet in the Sedgewick Hotel (yes, we're going back there... again) and the first ghost I saw was the same chef ghost from the last game and he called out a bunch of bellhop ghosts from the last game. Now, the level itself wasn't a shot for shot remake of the previous Sedgewick stage, but it had the same color motif. Similarly, fans noticed the first screenshots of the game looked like they were in the graveyard from the last game -- they are.

Portable Trapped Dead

Our story takes place in the early 80s in a small town names Hedge Hill near Kansas City, Missouri. The sowing of a new genetically modified type of corn caused the existence of a new virus which mutated through the natural food chain. A dog bite of an infected animal caused a local outbreak of the virus which rapidly infected the inhabitants of the idyllic provincial town. Mike and Gerald, two college boys, are thrown into the middle of a terrifying horror scenario. Having pulled over to a gas station near Hedge Hill during what was meant to be an enjoyable road trip, they are unaware of the virus which has already reached the gas station and its staff…Trapped Dead is a tactical real time strategy game in the tradition of the genres classical evergreens. Players control their characters in a 3rd person isometric view through a mature Zombie survival scenario inspired by the successful Horror movies of the early 80s.

Portable Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion

The dinosaurs have left the regular jungle and entered the urban jungle in the latest installment of the acclaimed TUROK series. It would seem that a mysterious force, called the Oblivion, has connected the prehistoric world to modern day Earth. Oblivion's hope is to eliminate past TUROK heroes and rule over the Earth. As chaos ensues, city officials decide to declare martial law in an attempt to shut Oblivion down. You play as either Danielle or Joseph (siblings of TUROK 2's Joshua Fireseed) as you take on 40 new, smarter enemies over five massive 3D worlds. Some levels and weapons are actually unique to the character you choose, keeping the fun factor and replayability high. Play with up to three friends in more than 40 multiplayer levels, including everyone's favorite, Frag Tag. The weapons and controls are very similar to those found in other TUROK games, so you'll adjust quickly if you're a fan of the series. The options, however, are considerably more extensive, and the gameplay even better than the rest of the series. With improved graphics, fiercer enemies, and a whole new story line, Shadows of Oblivion is simply not to be missed.

Portable Future Cop L.A.P.D.

Los Angeles is not always a nice place. In the 22nd century, criminals overrun the city, and Los Angeles is declared uninhabitable. You take control of a mech (that can transform into a hover bike) and try to clean up the streets. Use flamethrowers, plasma bursts, mini-shockwave mortars, and many other weapons as you battle through eight action packed levels by yourself or with a friend. For those who like a little more strategy, play the Precinct Assault mode, in which both players (you can challenge the machine or another human) start with bases and construct combat units. However, building the units cost points that are earned by destroying the enemy's equipment. The first to capture the opposition's base wins the game. With its multiplayer options and a choice of two different games, FUTURE COP: LAPD offers action and excitement for every gamer.

Portable Spy Hunter

The game's story plays out like an unmade James Bond movie, pitting you--the lone superspy--against an evil organization known as the Nostra, which is conspiring to drain the planet of its power. Taking to the road in the G-6155 Interceptor, you'll travel around the world to such foreign locales as the canals of Venice, the autobahns of Germany, and the Panama Canal. The core mechanics of the classic 2D Spy Hunter remain intact. That is, you can drive down stretches of road or water and blow up any enemy vehicles that cross your path. Aside from the smoke screen, oil slick, missiles, and front-mounted guns--all found in the original--defensive flamethrowers and even more exotic weaponry, including an electromagnetic pulse cannon, equip your supercar. The Interceptor is also a versatile vehicle, able to transform from car to boat and back again. This is good because you'll find yourself going back and forth between the two forms in many of the levels. If your vehicle takes enough damage, it sheds the majority of its weight to reveal a slimmed-down motorcycle or Jet Ski, depending on the environment.
