The Complete Genealogy Builder is designed to be a fully compliant GEDCOM 5.5 database manager for the creation and maintenance of genealogy projects. The design goals are: (i) simple, clean, and easy-to-use user interface, (ii) support for all GEDCOM 5.5 data tags, (iii) rapid navigation and rapid data entry for the "power user", and (iv) special import and export capabilities for designated custom tags used by other popular genealogy programs.
Despite the wide availability of different GEDCOM programs, very few of the existing products appears to have the ability to support all of the data fields of the GEDCOM 5.5 standard in a standards-compliant manner.
